We are proud of what we have achieved at Derby and at Tamworth over the last 6-years. With your support and the dedication of our team of first class tutors and trainers we have achieved national recognition as one of the best training establishments in the beauty sector in the country culminating with us becoming finalists in the Professional Beauty Awards in 2009.

That passion and enthusiasm will continue to grow along with our desire to serve you even better, but where do we go to next? What more can we do to help you grow? A wider range of courses? Over the last 18-months I have been watching the progress of another player in our industry since it changed hands. They have grown with noticeably increasing standards and I have been impressed by the knowledge our industry amongst their senior team and of the depth of resource they are adding to serve the client from their southern base. So over the last few months we started a dialogue with them to discuss becoming their partner in the Midlands to bring the best of what we do well and add this to what they do well.

They are the Carlton Institute who pioneered fast track courses in 1992 and have since had over 25,000 therapists train with them; but the real changes and improvements took place as I said since their change of ownership quite recently to Suki Kalirai, who prior to this started re-aqua, created and launched Dove Spa and grew those businesses to employ over 500 therapists across 45 salon and spa sites in UK and Spain in just 7 years from nothing! He is also Director and Deputy Chairman of Habia – the standard setting body for our industry and Chairman of the Spa Business association the leading trade body for professional spa and beauty salons.
