Course: Facials - 2 Day

Your course includes;

Day 1:

• Structure of the skin. review of anatomy and physiology of the muscles, bones and lymphatic system in the shoulders, neck, head and face.
• Client consultations
• Of different skins types and how to treat
• Contra- indications to facials.

Practical begins with demonstration and training in basic cleansing, toning, deep cleansing and moisturising.

Day 2;

Students will be taught to carry out a full facial, following the NVQ syllabus including;

•  Cleansing
• Deep cleansing 
• Tonin
•  Exfoliating
• Mask mixing (powders and active ingredients) and application.
• Facial shoulder and massage, finishing
• Aftercare advice, retailing, product advice and pricing.

Students are required to return 6 - 8 weeks following the course to carry out a full facial and to ensure they are totally confident with the treatment.

How can I progress following the course?
'Phase 2' facials, includes steaming, extraction, an advanced massage and additional facial masks (thermal, peel off, paraffin)

Do i need any previous qualifications?
No

Do i need a kit?
No, we will provide the  products needed during the course. Following the course you will be able to make a more knowledgeable and informed choice.

Do i need a model?
No, students work on each other
