Payment Terms and Conditions Most courses will involve some follow on paperwork. As BABTAC and GUILD courses are well recognised you not just handed a certificate for attending the course! You will be asked to carry out a minimum of two treatments on friends and family and to document them, taking some photos so they can be assessed. This will be explained in more detail by your tutor.

All our nail and beauty courses are recognised by BABTAC, THE BRITISH ASSOCIATION OF BEAUTY THERAPY AND COSMOTOLOGY and THE GUILD OF PROFESSIONAL BEAUTY THERAPISTS. These Beauty Therapy bodies are extremely well recognised and renowned in the industry. This is the highest recognition given to short intense courses and hence, if successful your certificate will qualify you for insurance by BABTAC, the GUILD or other Beauty Therapy Insurers. Advice on Insurance companies to approach will be given on the course.

There is a maximum of 8 students per course to ensure individual attention.

After the course you will be given full access to contact trainers whenever you have any problems and are encouraged to return for extra help if needed or just to boost your confidence. We want to provide you with backup and support not just teach you and leave you. This is fundamental to what Pinks and its trainers believe and is a key difference compared to many other short courses. Course dates can be subject to cancellation if there are not enough students You may be required to bring models with you. If so, you will be informed of this. Failure bring the correct models will result in you not being able to attend the course and you will be liable for the full course payment with no refund or transfer to another course date.

Courses are now held in a brand new fully equipped beauty-training centre, the Pinks Academy, opposite AKS Derby

Certificates will only be awarded if the student is successful and fulfils the criteria necessary. This is at the discretion of the trainer.

Deposits are £30 +vatper course, these are non refundable. For any joint courses such as the Total Nail technician a £30 + vatdeposit is required for each module of the course

Full payment for your course must be received, at the latest, 14 days before your first training day. Thereafter this fee is non refundable and non transferable. For joint courses we require full payment for all modules at this point

If you cancel the course within28 days of the starting date you will not receive any of the course back. If you do not attend on the day without a genuine reason, proof of which will be required, you will not receive any of the course fee back. If you cancel before this 28-day period you will lose your deposit. We hope you understand we have to be strict with these rules, as the trainers have to be paid the same no matter how many people are on the course. Furthermore, due to their popularity the courses are in high demand and we may have turned down another student for your place.

Cancellation due to child illness, lack of child care it is your responsibility to have a back up plan for your children , personal problems, change in circumstances, change of mind will not be accepted and no refund or transferral of course will be given

If the Pinks Academy has to cancel the course you fee will be transferred to another course date of your choice.
