How much will it cost me to start up a business?

Below are some estimated Kit and Product start up costs. These can vary depending on how extravigant you chose to be!

For the majority of courses we provide all the equipment you will need on the day. We advise all students not to purchase products before the course as following it you will be able to make a more knowledgeable and informed choice.

Exceptions;

Eyelash perming- kit needed- £49.99 plus VAT
Hopi Ear Candles- pack of candles needed- £3.95 plus VAT

We are situated next door to an Independent Nail and Beauty Trade suppliers. At the end of your course day our trainers will show you around and can advise on products without bias. You will be able to purchase products from any of their branches in Derby, Burton or Tamworth whilst you are a Pinks student
On successful completion of your courses the suppliers, AKS Hair and Beauty, will provide you with a trade card to enable you to purchase products, related to your qualification, from all of their branches

Nail Extensions

Kits available from £45/50 plus VAT. Students tend to spend approx £60-80 for their first system and £30- 40 more for additional systems. Gel lamps are an additional £39.99- £55 + VAT
Nail Conversions, Intermediate and Sculpted Nail Courses
There will only be a few extra products you may wish to add to your kits

Nail Art
How to do nail art? You could spend anywhere from £10 upwards on Nail art, your choice!

Manicure
We highly advise you purchase a Manicure kit for £28.99 plus VAT
Includes; Manicure bowl, Cuticle nippers, Pterigum dual tool, 2x 240grit file, 2x Orange sticks, blue foam buffer, Jumbo buffer, Cuticle massage cream, cuticle oil, cuticle remover, lint free wipes and Massage oil. Students can then spend however much they desire on varnishes etc.

Pedicure
We highly advise you purchase a Pedicure implement kit for £12.99 plus VAT
Includes;, Cuticle nippers, Pterigum dual tool, nail clippers, 2x 240grit file, 2x Orange sticks, Jumbo buffer
Students then tend to spend between £20-40 on wet products, varnishes etc.

Lash Tinting
Lash tinting kit- £19.95 plus VAT

Facials
We highly advise you purchase a facial implement kit £ 9. 95 plus VAT
Includes; head band, large facials bowl and two small, Mask brush, Yellow and Pinks sponges
The choice of wet products is then entirely your choice. You could spend anywhere from £30 to 3000!!
We have 2 full kits, covering all skin types, available, Strictly Professional is £50 and Hive Solutions is £75

Waxing
Waxing starter kits, includes all products you need- £47.99 plus VAT, could spend £10-20 on extras such as gloves and barbicide

Brazilian Waxing
Specialist Brazilian Hot wax £4.95 plus VAT, all other products you will already have

Indian Head and Body massage
Only require oil £3.50 upwards

Hot Stone massage
Stone kits and heaters available from £229 plus VAT, if you purchase these on the day of your course you receive a Special offer or £200 plus VAT.

Make Up Courses
We highly advise you purchase a make up implement kit £ 14.25 plus VAT
Includes; head band, small bowl, wedges, disposable mascara brushes, applicators and lip brushes, make up cape, palette
The choice of make up is entirely your choice.
